Wer Sie sind

• You have excellent proficiency in English (C1+), both written and spoken.
• You hold either a Master’s or PhD in a quantitative discipline such as Data Science, Computer Science, Engineering, Mathematics, Statistics, or a similar field, from a respected university or engineering institute. **(Bachelors only not enough!)
• You bring min 7-10 years of experience purely in developing and deploying data and AI solutions, with a background that ideally includes roles as a data scientist, technical lead in data science, or AI project manager.
• You have worked on projects with Gen AI
• Strong experience applying machine learning, ideally within the financial sector (but not a must).
• You possess strong knowledge of AI solution architectures, including on-premise infrastructure.
• You have a good experience in people management and looking to lead teams of 10-20 people.
• You have a research-oriented mindset and stay up to date with the latest technologies, unafraid to explore them for new project implementations.
• You consider yourself a mini genius and an intrapreneur, seeking to work in a company where you can act as an internal entrepreneur and a leader in the AI space.
• You are comfortable speaking and presenting to various stakeholders, including C-level executives and board members.

Ihre Aufgaben

• Lead and motivate a team of Data Scientists, identifying and prioritizing business opportunities based on evaluations of the latest trends in AI, technology advancements, and academic research.
• Offer strategic guidance on defining and expanding projects, ensuring the team stays on track while helping them recognize and address technical issues early in the process.
• Implement best practices for the development and maintenance of data science initiatives, providing ongoing support and direction.
• Promote skill development within the team, encouraging continuous learning and a culture of creativity and innovation through mentoring and other initiatives.
• Establish collaboration programs with external experts or research labs to drive knowledge exchange and foster innovation.
• Build and expand an internal AI community, positioning yourself as an "AI advocate" to champion AI initiatives and encourage widespread adoption throughout the organization.
