Inside Sales Specialist (Open) Location:
Largo, FL (Retail Solutions) - Management
Airgas is hiring for an Inside Sales Specialist in Largo, FL.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities
Monday thru Friday, daytime hours.
Base pay plus bonus.

Responsibilities include:
Maintain safety as priority.
Follow company policies: safety, IT security, antitrust, fraud prevention.
Make proactive outbound calls to existing customers and pursue new prospects (approx 40% of day).
Answer inbound calls and provide professional service.
Negotiate fair pricing while protecting profitability.
Attend required training to stay current on product knowledge, competitive information, sales skills, software changes.
Use SAP to document sales quotes and orders.
Process returns and credits with BSC Credit Department.
Use Salesforce for call planning, logging contact info, capturing customer data, managing retention and growth.
Use value‑added tools: emarket, airgas.com, marketing materials, Field Specialist Network.
Work with Sales Managers to improve call technique.
Strategize on budgeting and territory planning.
Assist with training or mentoring peers.
Required Qualifications
High School Diploma or GED equivalent.
Strong self‑motivation.
Team player.
Excellent communication and negotiation skills.
Ability to work independently under pressure.
Occasional travel.
Preferred Qualifications
College degree.
Knowledge of industrial distribution, PPE, welding, gases.
