This is a full-time, on-site Inside Sales Specialist role based in Freeport, TX. The Inside Sales Specialist will respond to inbound inquiries, prepare quotes, and process orders for hoses, fittings, slings, and related industrial products. The role includes proactively following up with existing and prospective customers, identifying new sales opportunities, and supporting 24-hour service needs in coordination with operations. Daily tasks involve maintaining accurate customer and order records, collaborating with warehouse and production teams to confirm availability and lead times, and ensuring timely communication throughout the sales cycle. The specialist will also assist with product recommendations, provide basic technical information, and help resolve customer issues to maintain strong, long-term relationships. Qualifications
Proven Inside Sales experience with a focus on industrial products or a related field. Skills in Lead Generation and opportunity identification to build and maintain a healthy sales pipeline. Strong Customer Service and Customer Satisfaction orientation, with a commitment to responsive, solution-focused support. Clear and professional Communication skills, both verbal and written, with the ability to explain technical information in accessible terms. Basic understanding of industrial, hydraulic, or marine hose products and fittings, or willingness to learn quickly. Ability to work on-site in Freeport, TX, collaborating closely with operations, warehouse, and management teams. Comfort with using CRM or order-entry systems and standard office software (e.g., email, spreadsheets, documents). Strong organizational skills, attention to detail, and the ability to manage multiple customer requests simultaneously. High school diploma or equivalent required; additional technical or business coursework is a plus. Prior experience in industrial distribution, manufacturing, or marine/energy services is beneficial.
