*Job Overview:*
Basin Home Health and Hospice seeks an Occupational Therapist to join our team. The successful candidate will be pivotal in evaluating patients' functional levels, developing care plans, and guiding patients in therapeutic activities. This position also involves supervising Occupational Therapy Assistants and Home Health Aides.
*Key Responsibilities:*
* Collaborate with physicians to evaluate patients' functional levels using diagnostic and prognostic procedures.
* Contribute to the development of the Plan of Care.
* Provide weekly clinical progress notes for each patient.
* Guide patients in therapeutic, creative, and self-care activities.
* Monitor and report patients' reactions to treatments and any changes in condition.
* Educate other health team members and families on specific phases of occupational therapy.
* Participate in discharge planning and in-service programs.
* Supervise Occupational Therapy Assistants and Home Health Aides.
* Uphold the duty to report any misconduct.
*Requirements:*
* State-required license or certification.
* Strong verbal and written communication skills.
* CPR certification is desirable.
* Ability to lift a minimum of 50 pounds.
Job Type: Part-time
Pay: $40.00 per hour
