Responsibilities
Lead the adoption of Ansys Discovery-based workflows for geometry creation, meshing, and solver preparation.
Develop automated, parameterized scripts to streamline mechanical development processes.
Build and validate parametric geometries using sketches, constraints, and Boolean operations in Ansys Discovery.
Translate GUI operations into pyDiscovery scripts, ensuring full parameterization with variables and named selections.
Share best practices, step-by-step guides, and recorded demos to facilitate knowledge transfer across teams.
Qualifications
Strong expertise in Ansys Discovery, Prime Mesher, and scripting with pyDiscovery, pyPrime, and pyMAPDL.
Proficiency in Python for automation, parameterization, and error handling.
Solid understanding of FEA principles, mesh quality metrics, and solver preparation.
Experience in workflow migration or process enablement is preferred.
Excellent communication and presentation skills for technical training and collaboration.
