LHH is seeking an experienced Insurance Defense Paralegal to join its client growing team in West Palm Beach, FL. This is an excellent opportunity to work alongside a collaborative group of attorneys handling a diverse caseload of litigation matters.
Responsibilities:
  • Support attorneys in all phases of insurance defense litigation, including medical malpractice, personal injury, and workers' compensation matters
  • Draft, revise, and file pleadings, motions, discovery, and correspondence
  • Manage case files from inception through trial, including maintaining deadlines and court calendars
  • Coordinate and assist with depositions, mediations, and trial preparation
  • Review, organize, and summarize medical records and billing
  • Communicate with clients, carriers, experts, and opposing counsel
Qualifications:
  • 2+ years of insurance defense litigation experience
  • Strong knowledge of Florida state court procedures and rules
  • Experience handling high-volume caseloads in a fast-paced environment
  • Proficiency with case management systems and Microsoft Office Suite
  • Exceptional organizational and communication skills
  • Paralegal certification is a plus
