At ISP School, located in the beautiful Glengorse Estate in Battle, East Sussex, we provide specialist education for 7-18-year-olds facing social, emotional, and mental health difficulties (SEMH), as well as communication and learning needs. Job Title: Teacher

Contract: Part-time, 15 hours per week (2 days), term time only

Salary: £28,000 - £39,590 pro rata

Start Date: ASAP

Location: Battle

Hours: 8:30 am - 4:30 pm

As a teacher at ISP School, you will:

• Teach Key Stage 3 and Key Stage 4 students.
• Plan, prepare, and present engaging lessons tailored to diverse learning needs.
• Utilize our positive behaviour policy to help students become responsible citizens.
• Inspire a love of learning and motivate students to thrive.

To succeed in this role, you should:

• Hold Qualified Teacher Status (QTS).
• Have successful teaching experience, particularly with vulnerable children.
• Possess SEN experience, focusing on nurturing children with SEMH and ASC needs.
• Have a strong knowledge of the National Curriculum, especially in Maths or English.
• Exhibit excellent behaviour management skills and a reflective teaching practice.
• Understand therapeutic approaches to education and adapt teaching methods accordingly.
• Demonstrate the ability to deliver dynamic and engaging lessons.

The successful candidate will be required to complete an enhanced DBS check, which will be covered by ISP School Battle.
