LHH Recruitment Solutions is partnering with a company in Nassau County to fill a Senior Billing and Collections Specialist position, which will oversee the revenue cycle ensuring that invoicing is accurate, timely and optimizing the billing processes, including cash flow and aging reporting. This is a temp to hire opportunity and can pay $80K when perm. Onsite Monday - Friday.
Job Responsibilities:
• Ensure preparation and issuance of invoices to customers in an accurate and timely manner
• Manage billing systems and automation tools
• Monitor aging reports and prioritize high-risk accounts
• Enforce collection strategies and escalation procedures
• Review unapplied cash, credits and write-offs
• Ensure proper posting of payments and adjustments
• Strengthen internal controls over billing and cash applications
• Support audits and financial close
Requirements:
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
• Excellent interpersonal and customer service skills.
• Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail.
• Excellent time management skills with a proven ability to meet deadlines.
• Ability to function well in a high-paced environment.
• Proficient with Microsoft Office Suite or related software.
