Über
Operational Oversight
- Ensure smooth service flow, from prep to guest experience.
- Monitor food quality, presentation, and adherence to health & safety standards.
- Oversee cleanliness, organization, and equipment functionality.
- Troubleshoot operational issues during shifts.
Team Leadership & Supervision
- Lead, motivate, and manage staff during shifts.
- Assign tasks, manage breaks, and ensure efficient shift coverage.
- Train and support new employees on company policies and procedures.
- Conduct pre-shift meetings to align the team on daily specials and expectations.
Customer Service & Experience
- Address guest inquiries, concerns, and complaints with professionalism.
- Monitor guest satisfaction and ensure an excellent dining experience.
- Support the service team as needed.
Sales & Financial Responsibilities
- Ensure accurate cash handling and transaction procedures.
- Track sales and analyze shift performance.
- Manage voids, discounts, and refunds within company guidelines.
Compliance & Safety
- Enforce food safety, alcohol service laws, and workplace safety regulations.
- Report and address safety hazards or incidents promptly.
- Ensure staff follow hygiene and uniform standards.
End-of-Shift Duties
- Complete closing procedures, including cash reconciliation and deposit preparation.
- Submit shift reports and escalate issues to management.
- Provide proper handover to the next supervisor or manager on duty.
Communication
- Maintain clear, consistent communication with management.
- Relay updates and implement management decisions.
- Keep the team informed of issues and encourage open communication.
- Respond to emails, texts, and communications in a timely manner.
- Ensure menu and drinks verbiage is consistent.
Qualifications
- Previous supervisory or leadership experience in hospitality or food service preferred.
- Strong organizational and problem-solving skills.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to lead a team in a fast-paced environment.
- Flexible schedule, including evenings, weekends, and holidays.
