About

Operational Oversight

  • Ensure smooth service flow, from prep to guest experience.
  • Monitor food quality, presentation, and adherence to health & safety standards.
  • Oversee cleanliness, organization, and equipment functionality.
  • Troubleshoot operational issues during shifts.

Team Leadership & Supervision

  • Lead, motivate, and manage staff during shifts.
  • Assign tasks, manage breaks, and ensure efficient shift coverage.
  • Train and support new employees on company policies and procedures.
  • Conduct pre-shift meetings to align the team on daily specials and expectations.

Customer Service & Experience

  • Address guest inquiries, concerns, and complaints with professionalism.
  • Monitor guest satisfaction and ensure an excellent dining experience.
  • Support the service team as needed.

Sales & Financial Responsibilities

  • Ensure accurate cash handling and transaction procedures.
  • Track sales and analyze shift performance.
  • Manage voids, discounts, and refunds within company guidelines.

Compliance & Safety

  • Enforce food safety, alcohol service laws, and workplace safety regulations.
  • Report and address safety hazards or incidents promptly.
  • Ensure staff follow hygiene and uniform standards.

End-of-Shift Duties

  • Complete closing procedures, including cash reconciliation and deposit preparation.
  • Submit shift reports and escalate issues to management.
  • Provide proper handover to the next supervisor or manager on duty.

Communication

  • Maintain clear, consistent communication with management.
  • Relay updates and implement management decisions.
  • Keep the team informed of issues and encourage open communication.
  • Respond to emails, texts, and communications in a timely manner.
  • Ensure menu and drinks verbiage is consistent.

Qualifications

  • Previous supervisory or leadership experience in hospitality or food service preferred.
  • Strong organizational and problem-solving skills.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to lead a team in a fast-paced environment.
  • Flexible schedule, including evenings, weekends, and holidays.
