Job Description
Head Chef Opportunity – High‑Volume Daytime Concept, Ireland. Senior Leadership Role – Structured Hours. Start date: immediately. Location: Co. Leitrim. Salary: €50,000 – €55,000 per year. Working hours: 40 hours per week (structured schedule, no late nights, closing approx. 7 pm). Contract type: Full‑time (Permanent). Staff accommodation available.
Responsibilities
- Lead and manage the full kitchen brigade and daily operations.
- Deliver consistent, high‑quality food across all service periods.
- Maintain strong organisation within a high‑volume kitchen.
- Manage stock control, ordering, and supplier relationships.
- Ensure HACCP compliance and food safety standards.
- Contribute to menu development using seasonal ingredients.
- Train, mentor, and develop kitchen staff.
- Work closely with front‑of‑house for smooth service.
- Maintain labour efficiency within a structured 40‑hour week.
Candidate Profile
- Proven experience as Head Chef or strong Senior Sous Chef ready to step up.
- Experience in high‑volume kitchens (brunch/lunch/all‑day dining preferred).
- Strong leadership and team management skills.
- Ability to implement systems and maintain consistency.
- Passion for quality ingredients and well‑executed food.
- Strong organisational and communication skills.
- Good working level of English required.
