Senior R&D Project Manager

Our client, a global medical device client, is seeking a Senior R&D Project Manager to lead cross-functional teams in the development and commercialisation of new products on site in Co. Mayo. This role will focus on delivering strategic projects within a structured NPD framework, ensuring alignment with business goals and market needs.

• Lead cross‑functional teams through product development and commercialisation
  
• Develop business cases and support global product launch strategies
  
• Manage project plans, timelines, budgets, and ROI targets
  
• Collaborate with senior stakeholders to drive project success
  
• Mentor team members and promote a high‑performance culture
  
• Ensure compliance with regulatory and quality standards
  
• Drive continuous improvement and best practice in project management
  

• 
  
• Degree in Engineering, Science, Business or related field
  
• 8–10+ years’ experience in product development project management (medical devices or regulated industry preferred)
  
• Proven experience leading cross‑functional teams

• Strong knowledge of regulatory standards (e.g. ISO 13485, ISO 14971, FDA/21 CFR)
  
• Experience working in matrixed environments

• Master’s degree or PMP certification
