ALOMEGA HOME HEALTH IS DEDICATED TO PROVIDEING TH E BEST PATIENT CARE. WE ARE SEEKING PT OT ST TO JOIN OUR ALOMEGA FAMILY IN KERRVILLE, INGRAM, FREDERICKSBURG, COMFORT TX AND THE SURROUNDING CITIES.
* Valid licensure as a Physical, Occupational, or Speech Therapist
* OT- help individuals of all ages develop, recover, improve, and maintain the skills necessary for daily living and work activities
* PT -Strong knowledge of anatomy, physiology, and medical terminology
* ST -Conducting comprehensive evaluations to identify speech, language, cognitive-communication, and swallowing disorders.
* Developing and implementing personalized treatment plans based on evidence-based practices..
* *Addressing Swallowing Difficulties:* Providing interventions for dysphagia (swallowing disorders), including diet modification and adaptive equipment recommendations.
* Experience in patient care and developing care plans
* Administer therapeutic interventions, such as exercises, stretching maneuvers, manual therapy (massage), and functional movement training, to alleviate pain, increase mobility, and promote healing.
* Monitor patient progress, adjust treatment plans as necessary, and document patient care services, including progress notes and outcomes.
* Work as part of a healthcare team, collaborating with other professionals, such as physicians, nurses, occupational therapists, and physical therapist assistants, to ensure comprehensive patient care.
* Familiarity with discharge planning and acute care settings
* Background in geriatrics preferred
* Experience in home health, outpatient, and inpatient care environments
* Proficient in trigger point therapy and orthopedic rehabilitation techniques
