Our distribution center in San Antonio, Texas, is hiring a Distribution Center Associate to manage a wide range of warehouse activities. This role is fundamental to ensuring the smooth flow of inventory from receipt to shipment. You will be involved in various tasks that contribute to the overall efficiency of our operations. Your role will be critical in maintaining inventory accuracy and supporting our customer fulfillment goals. This position requires physical stamina and a keen eye for detail.
Key Responsibilities:
- Receiving, inspecting, and storing incoming goods.
- Picking and packing orders accurately according to customer specifications.
- Preparing shipments for delivery, ensuring proper labeling and documentation.
- Operating warehouse equipment such as forklifts and pallet jacks.
- Maintaining inventory accuracy through regular cycle counts and stock checks.
- Ensuring the warehouse is clean, organized, and free from hazards.
- Following all safety protocols and procedures to minimize risks.
Qualifications:
- High school diploma or equivalent.
- Proven experience in a distribution center or warehouse environment.
- Capability of performing significant Lifting (up to 50 lbs).
- Familiarity with inventory management systems and warehouse software.
- Understanding of logistics and supply chain processes.
- Commitment to wearing required PPE and following Safety guidelines.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Strong organizational and time-management skills.
