We are hiring Distribution Center Associates to join our vital logistics operations in Philadelphia, Pennsylvania. Responsibilities:
- Execute tasks related to receiving, put-away, order picking, packing, and shipping preparation.
- Operate and maintain warehouse equipment, including forklifts and pallet jacks, adhering to all Safety regulations.
- Utilize RF scanners and other technology to accurately process inventory and orders.
- Ensure picked items match order specifications and quality standards.
- Perform regular inventory audits, including cycle counts, to maintain accurate stock levels.
- Keep the work area clean, organized, and free from hazards, upholding stringent Safety protocols.
- Load and unload materials from trucks efficiently and safely.
- Communicate effectively with colleagues and supervisors to ensure seamless operations.
- Consistently use designated Personal Protective Equipment (PPE) to ensure personal and team Safety.
- Manage the Lifting and movement of packages and materials, using proper ergonomic techniques.
Qualifications:
- High school diploma or GED required.
- Previous experience in a warehouse, distribution center, or logistics environment is preferred.
- Demonstrated ability to operate warehouse machinery safely and effectively.
- Experience with inventory management systems and RF scanning is advantageous.
- Physical capacity to stand for extended periods, walk, and perform frequent Lifting of items up to 50 pounds.
- High level of accuracy and attention to detail in all tasks.
- Ability to work independently and contribute positively to a team atmosphere.
- A strong understanding of warehouse Safety procedures and best practices.
- Willingness to adapt to changing priorities and work schedules.
