*Position Summary*
We are seeking a compassionate and skilled *Certified Respiratory Therapist* to join our healthcare team. In this role, you will provide cardiopulmonary care services in alignment with physician orders, clinical standards, and departmental protocols. You will play a key role in optimizing respiratory health for patients of all ages—from neonates to geriatrics.
*Key Responsibilities*
* Administer respiratory therapy treatments while understanding the purpose, dosage, and potential side effects.
* Set up and manage both invasive and non-invasive ventilators, performing associated critical care tasks such as airway management, tracheal suctioning, and intubation.
* Perform arterial punctures for blood gas analysis and monitor for complications.
* Monitor oxygen therapy delivery methods and assess for adverse reactions.
* Accurately document all services provided in patient records.
* Perform and process EKGs in accordance with departmental procedures.
* Maintain a working knowledge of departmental tools, forms, and logs.
* Assess patient tolerance and response to treatments, adjusting as necessary.
* Operate and inspect respiratory therapy equipment for safety and efficiency.
* Deliver age-appropriate care for neonates, pediatric, adolescent, adult, and geriatric patients.
* Support a culture of safety and reduce risks of medical errors.
* Participate in ongoing education and training to maintain professional competence.
* Fulfill additional duties as assigned by the department manager.

* Complete annual education and regulatory training requirements.
* Maintain patient confidentiality and ethical standards at all times.
* Arrive to work on time and meet productivity standards.
* Actively participate in quality improvement initiatives.
* Represent the organization in a positive, professional manner.
*Qualifications*
* *Licensure:* Current State Respiratory Therapist License.
* *Education:* Graduate of an AMA-accredited Respiratory Therapy program.
* *Certifications:* Current ACLS certification.
* *Experience:* Minimum 3 years in comprehensive cardiopulmonary care preferred.
*Skills & Abilities*
* Proficient in English, both verbal and written.
* Strong communication and documentation skills.
* Basic computer proficiency.
* Able to perform in a fast-paced hospital setting.
* Physically able to lift up to 100 lbs, push/pull up to 100 lbs, and assist during emergency codes.
