Join our dedicated team as a Distribution Center Associate in Detroit, Michigan! We are looking for motivated individuals to contribute to the seamless operation of our warehouse. Your role will involve a variety of tasks, including receiving and processing incoming stock, picking and filling orders, packing and shipping orders, and maintaining an organized and safe work environment. This position is key to our logistics network, ensuring products reach our customers efficiently and accurately. If you are a team player with a strong work ethic, we encourage you to apply.
Responsibilities:
- Receive, unpack, and verify incoming inventory.
- Accurately pick items for customer orders using pick lists or scanners.
- Pack products carefully to prevent damage during transit.
- Prepare orders for shipment, applying labels and necessary documentation.
- Load and unload delivery vehicles.
- Maintain a clean, organized, and safe working environment, adhering to all safety protocols.
- Operate basic warehouse equipment, such as pallet jacks and dollies.
- Properly use required Personal Protective Equipment (PPE).
- Support daily logistics operations and contribute to team goals.
- Engage in physically demanding tasks, including frequent lifting of up to 50 lbs.
Qualifications:
- Previous experience in a warehouse or distribution center setting is beneficial.
- Familiarity with inventory management and logistics processes.
- Strong commitment to workplace safety and correct use of PPE.
- Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced, team-oriented environment.
- Good physical stamina and the ability to perform tasks involving lifting and manual labor.
- Reliable and punctual with a strong sense of responsibility.
