Join our dedicated team as a Distribution Center Associate in Detroit, Michigan! We are looking for motivated individuals to contribute to the seamless operation of our warehouse. Your role will involve a variety of tasks, including receiving and processing incoming stock, picking and filling orders, packing and shipping orders, and maintaining an organized and safe work environment. Responsibilities:
- Receive, unpack, and verify incoming inventory.
- Accurately pick items for customer orders using pick lists or scanners.
- Pack products carefully to prevent damage during transit.
- Prepare orders for shipment, applying labels and necessary documentation.
- Load and unload delivery vehicles.
- Maintain a clean, organized, and safe working environment, adhering to all safety protocols.
- Operate basic warehouse equipment, such as pallet jacks and dollies.
- Properly use required Personal Protective Equipment (PPE).
- Support daily logistics operations and contribute to team goals.
- Engage in physically demanding tasks, including frequent lifting of up to 50 lbs.
Qualifications:
- Previous experience in a warehouse or distribution center setting is beneficial.
- Familiarity with inventory management and logistics processes.
- Strong commitment to workplace safety and correct use of PPE.
- Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced, team-oriented environment.
- Good physical stamina and the ability to perform tasks involving lifting and manual labor.
- Reliable and punctual with a strong sense of responsibility.
