Responsibilities:
- Efficiently sort, label, and store incoming inventory.
- Accurately pick customer orders using scanning technology or pick lists.
- Pack items securely for shipment, ensuring protection during transit.
- Load and unload trucks, ensuring proper weight distribution and safety.
- Operate warehouse equipment, such as pallet jacks and hand trucks.
- Maintain cleanliness and orderliness of the warehouse floor and storage areas.
- Participate in regular inventory checks and cycle counts.
- Adhere strictly to all safety regulations and company guidelines.
- Ensure all Lifting activities are performed safely and correctly.
- Wear required PPE, including safety vests and gloves, as mandated by safety protocols.
Qualifications:
- High school diploma or GED required.
- Proven experience in a warehouse or distribution environment preferred.
- Physical stamina to stand, walk, lift, and move throughout the shift.
- Ability to lift up to 50 lbs consistently.
- Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
- Team player with a positive attitude and good work ethic.
- Familiarity with warehouse management systems is a plus.
- Understanding of safety procedures and practices within a logistics environment.
- Commitment to performing duties safely and efficiently.
- Must be reliable and punctual.
