At ISP School, located in the beautiful Glengorse Estate in Battle, East Sussex, we provide specialist education for children aged 7-18 with social, emotional, and mental health difficulties (SEMH), communication and interaction needs, and cognition and learning needs. Contract: Full-Time, Term-Time Only

Salary: £28,000 - £39,590

Start Date: ASAP

Hours: 8.30am - 4.30pm

As a teacher at ISP School, you will:

• Teach Key Stage 3 and Key Stage 4 students
• Plan, prepare, and present engaging lessons tailored to the diverse needs of your students
• Utilize our positive behaviour policy to foster responsibility and accountability
• Motivate students to access learning and develop a passion for education

To thrive in this role, you should:

• Hold Qualified Teacher Status (QTS)
• Have successful teaching experience, particularly with vulnerable children
• Possess SEN experience, focusing on nurturing children with SEMH and ASC needs
• Demonstrate a strong knowledge of the National Curriculum in multiple areas, preferably Science and Media, including Esports
• Exhibit excellent behaviour management skills and a reflective practice approach
• Understand therapeutic approaches to education and adapt teaching methods to meet individual needs
• Deliver dynamic and engaging lessons that inspire students

The successful candidate will be required to complete an enhanced DBS check, with the cost covered by ISP School.
