At ISP School, located in the beautiful Glengorse Estate in Battle, East Sussex, we provide specialist education for children aged 7-18 with social, emotional, and mental health difficulties (SEMH), communication and interaction needs, and cognition and learning needs. Our mission is to create a safe and supportive environment that promotes self-discipline, engagement, and a love for learning.
Position: TeacherContract: Full-Time, Term-Time Only
Salary: £28,000 - £39,590
Start Date: ASAP
Hours: 8.30am - 4.30pm

As a teacher at ISP School, you will:
- Teach Key Stage 3 and Key Stage 4 students
- Plan, prepare, and present engaging lessons tailored to the diverse needs of your students
- Utilize our positive behaviour policy to foster responsibility and accountability
- Motivate students to access learning and develop a passion for education
To thrive in this role, you should:
- Hold Qualified Teacher Status (QTS)
- Have successful teaching experience, particularly with vulnerable children
- Possess SEN experience, focusing on nurturing children with SEMH and ASC needs
- Demonstrate a strong knowledge of the National Curriculum in multiple areas, preferably Science and Media, including Esports
- Exhibit excellent behaviour management skills and a reflective practice approach
- Understand therapeutic approaches to education and adapt teaching methods to meet individual needs
- Deliver dynamic and engaging lessons that inspire students
The successful candidate will be required to complete an enhanced DBS check, with the cost covered by ISP School.
