Data & Reporting Analyst

Summary of Position

The role will involve a number of different aspects including:

• 
  
• Delivering transport data reports to our clients within given timescales.
  
• Completing logic and validation checks on data to company standard operating procedures.
  
• Compiling reports and headline statistics on the data.
  
• Liaising with key stakeholders, including others within the project team and clients to ensure that reports are delivered to a high standard and delivered in a user friendly manner.
  

Science, maths or engineering based qualification or be able to demonstrate appropriate equivalent experience. Degree level or equivalent experience.

Essential

• 
  
• A natural affinity to numbers and calculations.
  
• Experience with using data analysis and reporting tools/methods.
  
• Polished report writing skills and ability to confidently present issues and observations with data.
  
• Attention to detail to be able to identify and investigate anomalies in data sets.
  
• Be comfortable using Microsoft software packages with a competent level of Excel knowledge. xcfaprz
  
• Experience with SQL.
  
• Experience with Python or JavaScript.

• Experience in accreditation and/or Quality Assurance processes
  
• Database experience and software development experience
  
• Knowledge and experience with reporting, statistical models and data analytics
