Data & Reporting Analyst
Summary of Position
The role will involve a number of different aspects including:
- Delivering transport data reports to our clients within given timescales.
- Completing logic and validation checks on data to company standard operating procedures.
- Compiling reports and headline statistics on the data.
- Liaising with key stakeholders, including others within the project team and clients to ensure that reports are delivered to a high standard and delivered in a user friendly manner.
Qualifications
Science, maths or engineering based qualification or be able to demonstrate appropriate equivalent experience. Degree level or equivalent experience.
Skills & Experience
Essential
- A natural affinity to numbers and calculations.
- Experience with using data analysis and reporting tools/methods.
- Polished report writing skills and ability to confidently present issues and observations with data.
- Attention to detail to be able to identify and investigate anomalies in data sets.
- Be comfortable using Microsoft software packages with a competent level of Excel knowledge. xcfaprz
- Experience with SQL.
- Experience with Python or JavaScript.
Desirable
- Experience in accreditation and/or Quality Assurance processes
- Database experience and software development experience
- Knowledge and experience with reporting, statistical models and data analytics
