Job Summary:
Are you a proactive individual with a keen eye for detail? Our Miami, Florida facility is looking for an Inventory Control Specialist to manage and maintain the accuracy of our warehouse inventory. This role is pivotal in ensuring that our stock levels are precise, facilitating efficient operations and preventing discrepancies. Responsibilities:
  • Conduct regular cycle counts and physical inventory audits.
  • Investigate and resolve inventory discrepancies promptly.
  • Maintain accurate inventory records in the Warehouse Management System (WMS).
  • Implement and enforce inventory control procedures.
  • Monitor stock levels and report on any potential shortages or overages.
  • Ensure proper organization and labeling of all inventory items.
  • Optimize warehouse layout for efficient stock rotation and accessibility.
  • Train team members on inventory control best practices.
  • Adhere strictly to safety regulations, including the mandatory use of appropriate PPE.
  • Assist in receiving and put-away processes to ensure accurate initial stock recording.
  • Contribute to process improvements within the logistics and inventory management functions.

Qualifications:
  • High school diploma or equivalent; associate's degree preferred.
  • Proven experience in inventory control or warehouse management.
  • Proficiency with WMS and other inventory software.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
  • Excellent organizational and time management abilities.
  • Ability to lift up to 50 lbs.
  • Knowledge of safety protocols and the importance of PPE.
  • Understanding of logistics and supply chain operations.
  • Detail-oriented with a high level of accuracy.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
