This role is pivotal in ensuring that our stock levels are precise, facilitating efficient operations and preventing discrepancies. Responsibilities:
- Conduct regular cycle counts and physical inventory audits.
- Investigate and resolve inventory discrepancies promptly.
- Maintain accurate inventory records in the Warehouse Management System (WMS).
- Implement and enforce inventory control procedures.
- Monitor stock levels and report on any potential shortages or overages.
- Ensure proper organization and labeling of all inventory items.
- Optimize warehouse layout for efficient stock rotation and accessibility.
- Train team members on inventory control best practices.
- Adhere strictly to safety regulations, including the mandatory use of appropriate PPE.
- Assist in receiving and put-away processes to ensure accurate initial stock recording.
- Contribute to process improvements within the logistics and inventory management functions.
Qualifications:
- High school diploma or equivalent; associate's degree preferred.
- Proven experience in inventory control or warehouse management.
- Proficiency with WMS and other inventory software.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Excellent organizational and time management abilities.
- Ability to lift up to 50 lbs.
- Knowledge of safety protocols and the importance of PPE.
- Understanding of logistics and supply chain operations.
- Detail-oriented with a high level of accuracy.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
