Job Summary:
Join our team in Cincinnati, Ohio, as a Material Handler and become an essential part of our distribution center's operations. This role is vital for the efficient flow of goods, from receiving to shipping, and plays a key part in our overall Logistics success. You will operate material handling equipment, manage inventory, and ensure that all materials are handled safely and efficiently. We are looking for reliable individuals with a strong work ethic and a commitment to maintaining a secure and organized work environment. Responsibilities:
  • Operate forklifts, pallet jacks, and other warehouse equipment to move materials efficiently and safely.
  • Load and unload incoming and outgoing shipments, verifying contents against documentation.
  • Transport raw materials and finished goods to designated areas within the warehouse.
  • Organize and maintain inventory in an orderly and accessible manner, ensuring proper stock rotation.
  • Perform daily inspections of equipment, reporting any malfunctions or necessary repairs.
  • Assist with inventory management tasks, including cycle counts and stocktaking.
  • Strictly adhere to all company Safety policies and procedures, including the proper use of PPE .
  • Maintain cleanliness and orderliness of all work areas and equipment.
Qualifications:
  • High school diploma or equivalent.
  • Previous experience in a material handling or warehouse role is preferred.
  • Certification to operate a forklift is advantageous.
  • Ability to perform physically demanding tasks, including frequent standing, walking, and bending.
  • Must be able to handle Lifting of up to 50 lbs regularly.
  • Familiarity with warehouse operations and inventory management principles.
  • Excellent attention to detail and organizational skills.
  • Commitment to promoting a culture of Safety in the workplace.
