You will operate material handling equipment, manage inventory, and ensure that all materials are handled safely and efficiently. Responsibilities:
- Operate forklifts, pallet jacks, and other warehouse equipment to move materials efficiently and safely.
- Load and unload incoming and outgoing shipments, verifying contents against documentation.
- Transport raw materials and finished goods to designated areas within the warehouse.
- Organize and maintain inventory in an orderly and accessible manner, ensuring proper stock rotation.
- Perform daily inspections of equipment, reporting any malfunctions or necessary repairs.
- Assist with inventory management tasks, including cycle counts and stocktaking.
- Strictly adhere to all company Safety policies and procedures, including the proper use of PPE .
- Maintain cleanliness and orderliness of all work areas and equipment.
- High school diploma or equivalent.
- Previous experience in a material handling or warehouse role is preferred.
- Certification to operate a forklift is advantageous.
- Ability to perform physically demanding tasks, including frequent standing, walking, and bending.
- Must be able to handle Lifting of up to 50 lbs regularly.
- Familiarity with warehouse operations and inventory management principles.
- Excellent attention to detail and organizational skills.
- Commitment to promoting a culture of Safety in the workplace.
