We are seeking dedicated and motivated Distribution Center Associates to join our dynamic team in Houston, Texas. As a Distribution Center Associate, you will play a crucial role in the efficient operation of our warehouse, ensuring timely and accurate processing of goods. Your responsibilities will include receiving, stocking, picking, packing, and shipping orders. This role requires a commitment to excellent **safety** standards and efficient workflow management within our **logistics** operations. You will be trained on proper **lifting** techniques and the use of required **PPE**. The ideal candidate will be a team player, possess a strong work ethic, and be comfortable working in a fast-paced environment. Responsibilities:
- Receive, unload, and process incoming inventory accurately.
- Pick, pack, and prepare customer orders for shipment.
- Stock shelves and maintain inventory levels.
- Operate warehouse equipment safely and efficiently (training provided).
- Adhere to all **safety** protocols and procedures, including wearing required **PPE**.
- Assist with cycle counts and inventory management.
- Maintain a clean and organized work environment.
- Collaborate with team members to achieve departmental goals.
- Participate in **logistics** planning and execution.
- Assist with **lifting** and moving of goods, up to 50 lbs.
Qualifications:
- High school diploma or equivalent.
- Previous warehouse experience preferred, but not required.
- Ability to perform physical tasks, including frequent **lifting**, bending, and standing for extended periods.
- Understanding of **logistics** and warehouse operations is a plus.
- Commitment to **safety** and adherence to guidelines.
- Familiarity with **PPE** requirements in a warehouse setting.
- Excellent attention to detail and accuracy.
- Ability to work effectively in a team and independently.
Working Conditions:
This role operates in a warehouse environment. This includes exposure to varying temperatures and noise levels. The use of **PPE** is mandatory. Physical exertion, including **lifting** and movement, is a regular part of the job. Attention to **safety** is paramount in all aspects of this **logistics** role.
