As a Distribution Center Associate, you will play a crucial role in the efficient operation of our warehouse, ensuring timely and accurate processing of goods. Your responsibilities will include receiving, stocking, picking, packing, and shipping orders. You will be trained on proper **lifting** techniques and the use of required **PPE**. Responsibilities:
- Receive, unload, and process incoming inventory accurately.
- Pick, pack, and prepare customer orders for shipment.
- Stock shelves and maintain inventory levels.
- Operate warehouse equipment safely and efficiently (training provided).
- Adhere to all **safety** protocols and procedures, including wearing required **PPE**.
- Assist with cycle counts and inventory management.
- Maintain a clean and organized work environment.
- Collaborate with team members to achieve departmental goals.
- Participate in **logistics** planning and execution.
- Assist with **lifting** and moving of goods, up to 50 lbs.
Qualifications:
- High school diploma or equivalent.
- Previous warehouse experience preferred, but not required.
- Ability to perform physical tasks, including frequent **lifting**, bending, and standing for extended periods.
- Understanding of **logistics** and warehouse operations is a plus.
- Commitment to **safety** and adherence to guidelines.
- Familiarity with **PPE** requirements in a warehouse setting.
- Excellent attention to detail and accuracy.
- Ability to work effectively in a team and independently.
Working Conditions:
This role operates in a warehouse environment. This includes exposure to varying temperatures and noise levels. The use of **PPE** is mandatory. Physical exertion, including **lifting** and movement, is a regular part of the job. Attention to **safety** is paramount in all aspects of this **logistics** role.
