We are looking for a meticulous Inventory Control Specialist to join our team in Orlando, Florida. In this vital role, you will be responsible for maintaining the accuracy and integrity of our warehouse inventory. This position is critical to our overall logistics operations, ensuring that stock levels are precise and readily available. You will conduct regular cycle counts, investigate inventory discrepancies, and implement procedures to minimize shrinkage and improve stock accuracy. The ideal candidate will possess strong analytical skills, a keen eye for detail, and experience with inventory management systems. A commitment to safety and adherence to warehouse protocols, including the use of Personal Protective Equipment (PPE), is essential. This role involves regular interaction with warehouse staff and management, requiring excellent communication skills. Responsibilities:
  • Perform regular cycle counts and physical inventory audits.
  • Investigate and resolve inventory discrepancies, identifying root causes.
  • Maintain accurate inventory records in the Warehouse Management System (WMS).
  • Implement and improve inventory control procedures to enhance accuracy and reduce loss.
  • Monitor stock levels and report on stock aging and turnover.
  • Coordinate with receiving, shipping, and operations teams on inventory-related matters.
  • Ensure proper storage and organization of inventory items.
  • Adhere to all company safety policies, including the proper use of PPE.
  • Assist in identifying slow-moving or obsolete inventory.
  • Participate in physical inventory counts as required.
