Responsibilities:
  • Perform preventative maintenance and minor repairs on warehouse equipment, including forklifts, conveyors, and pallet jacks.
  • Conduct regular Safety inspections of equipment and the warehouse facility.
  • Operate material handling equipment as needed to assist with inventory and workflow.
  • Assist with the receiving and stocking of materials, ensuring proper placement and organization.
  • Maintain accurate records of maintenance activities and inventory levels.
  • Ensure all work areas are kept clean, organized, and free of hazards.
  • Adhere strictly to all Safety regulations and protocols, including the proper use of Personal Protective Equipment (PPE).
  • Support the logistics team by troubleshooting equipment issues that may arise.
  • Assist with inventory control processes and conduct cycle counts.
  • Participate in training sessions to stay updated on equipment and Safety best practices.

Qualifications:
  • High school diploma or equivalent required; technical certifications a plus.
  • Proven experience in warehouse operations and maintenance.
  • Proficiency in operating various material handling equipment.
  • Knowledge of mechanical systems and basic repair techniques.
  • Strong understanding of warehouse Safety procedures and OSHA regulations.
  • Ability to perform tasks involving physical exertion, including moderate Lifting.
  • Excellent problem-solving and troubleshooting skills.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
  • Good communication and record-keeping abilities.
  • Must be reliable and committed to maintaining a safe work environment.
