Responsibilities:
- Perform preventative maintenance and minor repairs on warehouse equipment, including forklifts, conveyors, and pallet jacks.
- Conduct regular Safety inspections of equipment and the warehouse facility.
- Operate material handling equipment as needed to assist with inventory and workflow.
- Assist with the receiving and stocking of materials, ensuring proper placement and organization.
- Maintain accurate records of maintenance activities and inventory levels.
- Ensure all work areas are kept clean, organized, and free of hazards.
- Adhere strictly to all Safety regulations and protocols, including the proper use of Personal Protective Equipment (PPE).
- Support the logistics team by troubleshooting equipment issues that may arise.
- Assist with inventory control processes and conduct cycle counts.
- Participate in training sessions to stay updated on equipment and Safety best practices.
Qualifications:
- High school diploma or equivalent required; technical certifications a plus.
- Proven experience in warehouse operations and maintenance.
- Proficiency in operating various material handling equipment.
- Knowledge of mechanical systems and basic repair techniques.
- Strong understanding of warehouse Safety procedures and OSHA regulations.
- Ability to perform tasks involving physical exertion, including moderate Lifting.
- Excellent problem-solving and troubleshooting skills.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Good communication and record-keeping abilities.
- Must be reliable and committed to maintaining a safe work environment.
