Are you a certified Forklift Operator looking for a new opportunity in Chicago, Illinois? Responsibilities:
- Operating forklifts and other powered industrial trucks to move materials.
- Loading and unloading trailers and containers.
- Transporting materials to and from storage areas and production sites.
- Stacking and retrieving inventory accurately.
- Performing routine checks and basic maintenance on forklifts.
- Adhering strictly to all safety procedures and guidelines, including wearing appropriate PPE.
- Assisting with inventory counts and reconciliation.
- Maintaining a clean and organized work environment.
Requirements:
- Valid forklift operator certification (e.g., OSHA-compliant).
- Proven experience operating various types of forklifts.
- High school diploma or equivalent.
- Ability to lift up to 50 pounds.
- Strong understanding of warehouse operations and logistics principles.
- Excellent hand-eye coordination and spatial awareness.
- Commitment to safety and accident prevention.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Must be able to stand, walk, and operate machinery for extended periods.
