As a Picker/Packer, you will be responsible for locating products within the warehouse, preparing them for shipment, and ensuring that orders are assembled correctly and on time. This role is fundamental to our logistics operations, directly impacting customer satisfaction. Key Responsibilities:
- Accurately pick items from warehouse shelves based on order sheets or scanner.
- Inspect picked items for any damage or defects.
- Pack orders securely and efficiently, selecting appropriate packaging materials.
- Label packages accurately with shipping information.
- Operate pallet jacks and other equipment as needed to transport goods.
- Maintain a clean and organized workstation and contribute to overall warehouse tidiness.
- Assist with inventory management, including cycle counts.
- Follow all safety guidelines and wear required PPE.
- Meet or exceed productivity and accuracy standards.
Requirements:
- High school diploma or equivalent.
- Previous experience as a Picker/Packer or in a warehouse environment is a plus.
- Ability to stand, walk, and bend for extended periods.
- Requires lifting up to 45 pounds regularly.
- Strong attention to detail and a commitment to accuracy.
- Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment.
- Good communication and teamwork skills.
- Understanding of basic logistics and inventory procedures.
- Adherence to all safety regulations and diligent use of PPE is mandatory.
