As a Picker/Packer, you will be responsible for locating products within the warehouse, preparing them for shipment, and ensuring that orders are assembled correctly and on time. Key Responsibilities:
- Accurately pick items from warehouse shelves based on order sheets or scanner.
- Inspect picked items for any damage or defects.
- Pack orders securely and efficiently, selecting appropriate packaging materials.
- Label packages accurately with shipping information.
- Operate pallet jacks and other equipment as needed to transport goods.
- Maintain a clean and organized workstation and contribute to overall warehouse tidiness.
- Assist with inventory management, including cycle counts.
- Follow all safety guidelines and wear required PPE.
- Meet or exceed productivity and accuracy standards.
Requirements:
- High school diploma or equivalent.
- Previous experience as a Picker/Packer or in a warehouse environment is a plus.
- Ability to stand, walk, and bend for extended periods.
- Requires lifting up to 45 pounds regularly.
- Strong attention to detail and a commitment to accuracy.
- Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment.
- Good communication and teamwork skills.
- Understanding of basic logistics and inventory procedures.
- Adherence to all safety regulations and diligent use of PPE is mandatory.
