We are looking for a Business Development Manager with a strong hunting mindset to drive new business growth (Citrix) in the Netherlands. This role is focused on identifying, developing, and closing new customer opportunities , while building a strong pipeline of strategic accounts.
This position is ideal for:
Sales professionals who want to deepen their expertise in the IT and technology landscape , or
IT professionals who are motivated to develop a successful sales and business development career
You will act as a trusted advisor to prospects, positioning Arrow’s portfolio of IT solutions, value-added services, and supply chain programs to address real business and technology challenges.
New Business Development (Hunter Focus)
Proactively identify, target, and acquire new customers within the assigned territory
Build and execute a structured new business acquisition strategy
Generate leads through prospecting, networking, and market analysis
Own the full sales cycle: from opportunity identification to deal closure
Solution & Value-Based Selling
Position Arrow’s IT solutions, cloud services, and value-added offerings based on customer business needs
Work closely with technical teams and vendor partners to design tailored solutions
Educate customers on Arrow’s supply chain capabilities and full life-cycle services
Customer Engagement & Relationship Building
Build strong relationships with decision-makers, influencers, and technical stakeholders
Act as a trusted advisor by understanding customer challenges and future growth plans
Transition newly acquired customers into long-term strategic relationships
Sales Execution & Reporting
Maintain accurate pipeline management, forecasting, and reporting using Salesforce.
Meet or exceed new business and revenue targets
Collaborate internally with sales, marketing, and technical teams to accelerate deal success
Required Qualifications
Proven experience in business development, new business sales, or hunter roles
Background in Sales or IT with a strong motivation to grow in the other domain
Experience engaging with IT customers or selling technology-related solutions (preferred)
Ability to understand and position technical solutions at a business level
Experience responding to RFPs is a plus
Fluent in Dutch , spoken and written
Valid driver’s license and willingness to travel
Experience with CRM systems, ideally Salesforce
Strong negotiation, presentation, and communication skills
Self-driven, resilient, and results-oriented mindset
