We are looking for a Business Development Manager with a strong hunting mindset to drive new business growth (Citrix) in the Netherlands. This role is focused on identifying, developing, and closing new customer opportunities , while building a strong pipeline of strategic accounts.

This position is ideal for:

  • Sales professionals who want to deepen their expertise in the IT and technology landscape , or

  • IT professionals who are motivated to develop a successful sales and business development career

You will act as a trusted advisor to prospects, positioning Arrow’s portfolio of IT solutions, value-added services, and supply chain programs to address real business and technology challenges.

New Business Development (Hunter Focus)

  • Proactively identify, target, and acquire new customers within the assigned territory

  • Build and execute a structured new business acquisition strategy

  • Generate leads through prospecting, networking, and market analysis

  • Own the full sales cycle: from opportunity identification to deal closure

Solution & Value-Based Selling

  • Position Arrow’s IT solutions, cloud services, and value-added offerings based on customer business needs

  • Work closely with technical teams and vendor partners to design tailored solutions

  • Educate customers on Arrow’s supply chain capabilities and full life-cycle services

Customer Engagement & Relationship Building

  • Build strong relationships with decision-makers, influencers, and technical stakeholders

  • Act as a trusted advisor by understanding customer challenges and future growth plans

  • Transition newly acquired customers into long-term strategic relationships

Sales Execution & Reporting

  • Maintain accurate pipeline management, forecasting, and reporting using Salesforce.

  • Meet or exceed new business and revenue targets

  • Collaborate internally with sales, marketing, and technical teams to accelerate deal success

Required Qualifications

  • Proven experience in business development, new business sales, or hunter roles

  • Background in Sales or IT with a strong motivation to grow in the other domain

  • Experience engaging with IT customers or selling technology-related solutions (preferred)

  • Ability to understand and position technical solutions at a business level

  • Experience responding to RFPs is a plus

  • Fluent in Dutch , spoken and written

  • Valid driver’s license and willingness to travel

  • Experience with CRM systems, ideally Salesforce

  • Strong negotiation, presentation, and communication skills

  • Self-driven, resilient, and results-oriented mindset
