In this role, you will be responsible for accurately selecting items from warehouse shelves and preparing them for shipment. Responsibilities:
- Accurately pick items from warehouse inventory based on order specifications.
- Pack items securely and efficiently for shipment, ensuring product protection.
- Verify picked items against order sheets to ensure accuracy.
- Label packages correctly for shipment.
- Maintain a clean and organized work area, contributing to overall warehouse safety .
- Follow all company policies and procedures, including those related to PPE usage.
- Participate in inventory counts and stock rotation.
- Understand and contribute to the smooth operation of our logistics network.
- Regularly engage in tasks requiring lifting of items up to 50 lbs.
Qualifications:
- High school diploma or equivalent.
- Previous experience in a picking or packing role is advantageous.
- Excellent accuracy and attention to detail.
- Ability to work quickly and efficiently in a standing and moving environment.
- Familiarity with warehouse management systems is a plus.
- Must be able to handle the physical demands of the job, including frequent lifting .
- Commitment to maintaining a high level of safety awareness.
- Team player with good communication skills.
- Understanding of logistics flow within a warehouse is beneficial.
