Join our team as a Picker/Packer in Baltimore, Maryland, and become an essential part of our efficient order fulfillment process. In this role, you will be responsible for accurately selecting items from warehouse shelves and preparing them for shipment. Your attention to detail and speed are critical to ensuring our customers receive their orders correctly and on time. This is a hands-on position that requires efficiency, accuracy, and a commitment to maintaining a safe work environment. Responsibilities:
- Accurately pick items from warehouse inventory based on order specifications.
- Pack items securely and efficiently for shipment, ensuring product protection.
- Verify picked items against order sheets to ensure accuracy.
- Label packages correctly for shipment.
- Maintain a clean and organized work area, contributing to overall warehouse safety .
- Follow all company policies and procedures, including those related to PPE usage.
- Participate in inventory counts and stock rotation.
- Understand and contribute to the smooth operation of our logistics network.
- Regularly engage in tasks requiring lifting of items up to 50 lbs.
Qualifications:
- High school diploma or equivalent.
- Previous experience in a picking or packing role is advantageous.
- Excellent accuracy and attention to detail.
- Ability to work quickly and efficiently in a standing and moving environment.
- Familiarity with warehouse management systems is a plus.
- Must be able to handle the physical demands of the job, including frequent lifting .
- Commitment to maintaining a high level of safety awareness.
- Team player with good communication skills.
- Understanding of logistics flow within a warehouse is beneficial.
