We are hiring a Distribution Center Associate in Indianapolis, Indiana, to support our expanding operations. This role is vital for maintaining the flow of goods through our state-of-the-art facility. You will be responsible for various tasks related to inventory management, order processing, and ensuring the safe and efficient movement of products. Responsibilities:
- Efficiently receive, sort, and store incoming merchandise.
- Accurately pick items for customer orders and prepare them for shipment.
- Operate material handling equipment, such as forklifts and pallet jacks, safely.
- Conduct inventory counts and help maintain accurate stock levels.
- Keep the distribution center clean, orderly, and safe.
- Strictly follow all company safety policies and procedures, including the mandatory use of PPE.
- Identify and report any safety hazards or equipment malfunctions.
- Contribute to team goals for productivity and accuracy.
Qualifications:
- High school diploma or equivalent.
- Previous experience in a distribution center or warehouse environment is advantageous.
- Ability to perform physical tasks, including frequent Lifting of items up to 50 lbs.
- Knowledge of warehouse safety practices and regulations.
- Strong attention to detail and organizational skills.
- Ability to work collaboratively in a team environment.
- Reliability and a strong work ethic.
