LOGISTICS ADMINISTRATIVE ASSISTANTMAIN FUNCTIONS

Macco Organiques is experiencing strong growth and is currently looking for a Logistics Administrative Assistant.
Macco Organiques is a manufacturing facility located in Valleyfield, specializing in the production of food-grade and pharmaceutical-grade chemicals for over 40 years.

Role and Responsibilities:
- Answer incoming phone calls
- Welcome truck drivers and visitors
- Ship samples and documents via express courier
- Prepare documentation required for the export process
- Provide administrative support for various logistics-related tasks
- Manage orders and invoicing processes in the ERP system
- Request freight rates from transportation partners
- Develop and maintain transportation cost files
- Order office supplies
- Assist in organizing company events
- Perform any other related duties
Profile Sought:
- High school diploma or vocational diploma (DEP) in secretarial studies, AEC in office administration, AEC in logistics, or equivalent experience
- Positive, dynamic, autonomous, responsible, and a strong team player
- Strong organizational skills and attention to detail
- Ability to manage various situations and find solutions
- Good judgment and ability to prioritize
- Resourceful and willing to support other departments
- Bilingual (French and English)
- Logistics experience is an asset
Schedule:
- Monday to Friday, 40 hours per week
