We are seeking a Licensed Massage Therapist Independent Contractor to rent out our space and join our wellness team. In this role, you will deliver exceptional massage therapy services that promote relaxation, pain relief, and overall well-being for our diverse clientele. Your expertise will help clients achieve their health goals through personalized treatment plans, combining technical skill with a genuine commitment to patient care. This independent contract position does require a signed contract, patient charting as well as collaboration with our doctors treatment plans.
*Duties*
* Provide professional massage therapy sessions utilizing techniques such as deep tissue massage and trigger point therapy to address specific client needs.
* Maintain detailed records of treatments, patient progress, and clinical notes in compliance with medical terminology and physiology standards.
* Collaborate with other healthcare professionals to ensure comprehensive patient care and optimal outcomes.
* Ensure a safe and clean treatment environment by adhering to sanitation protocols and industry best practices.
* Stay current with the latest advancements in massage therapy techniques and industry standards through ongoing education
*Qualifications*
* Valid license as a Massage Therapist in accordance with state or local regulations
* Prior experience working as a massage therapist is preferred.
* Strong knowledge of anatomy, physiology, and medical terminology relevant to massage therapy.
* Expertise in deep tissue massage, trigger point therapy, prenatal massage, among other massage techniques.
* Prior experience working with patient charting and patient assessments.
* Excellent communication skills with the ability to educate clients effectively.
* Ability to work flexible hours including evenings.
