Are you an experienced technician looking for a challenging opportunity in Colorado Springs, Colorado? We are seeking a skilled Warehouse Technician to maintain and improve the operational efficiency of our warehouse. This role involves troubleshooting and repairing warehouse equipment, ensuring all machinery operates safely and effectively. You will also assist with inventory management, material handling, and ensuring adherence to strict safety protocols. Your expertise is vital to our logistics infrastructure, ensuring seamless operations. A strong understanding of mechanical systems and a commitment to workplace safety are paramount. You will be required to use PPE and follow all safety regulations. This role may involve some physical tasks, including moderate lifting .
Responsibilities:
- Perform routine maintenance and repairs on warehouse equipment, including conveyor systems, forklifts, and automated machinery.
- Diagnose and troubleshoot mechanical and electrical issues.
- Ensure all equipment is functioning safely and in compliance with regulations.
- Assist with the installation and setup of new equipment.
- Maintain accurate records of maintenance activities and parts inventory.
- Support inventory management and stock organization.
- Implement and enforce safety procedures throughout the warehouse.
- Ensure all personnel utilize required PPE .
- Contribute to process improvements in our logistics operations.
- Assist with physical inventory tasks, including movement of goods, requiring some lifting .
Qualifications:
High school diploma or equivalent; technical certifications in mechanics or electronics preferred. Proven experience as a Warehouse Technician or in a similar maintenance role. Strong mechanical and electrical troubleshooting skills. Familiarity with warehouse equipment and industrial machinery. Knowledge of hydraulic, pneumatic, and electrical systems. Ability to read schematics and technical manuals. Commitment to workplace safety and the proper use of PPE . Understanding of warehouse logistics and operational flow. Ability to perform moderate lifting (up to 50 lbs) and work in varied conditions.
