Your Key ResponsibilitiesCollaborate with the Senior Team to ensure top-notch food quality in your section.
Coach and develop CDPs and Commis Chefs, leading by example.
Regularly check standards in your section, ensuring audits and temperature checks are completed.
Take ownership of stocktaking and communicate key indicators to the Head Chef.
Anticipate kitchen pinch points and inform your line manager.
Assist Senior Chefs in producing monthly kitchen reports.
Foster a collaborative partnership between front and back of house.
Communicate effectively to keep the team informed about the menu.
Exhibit strong planning, organizing, and time management skills to drive operational success.
Ensure adherence to company policies, cleanliness, and health & safety standards.
Monitor inventory and highlight needs to Senior Chefs.
Provide regular feedback and coaching to the team, recognizing achievements.
Identify training needs within your team.
Experience as a Sous Chef in a quality restaurant.
A willingness to learn, grow, and teach others.
A passion for food and culinary excellence.
Strong longevity with past employers.
