Job Description:
- Detect and question individuals suspected of violating customs and immigration laws
- Inspect documents and personal belongings to determine citizenship status or potential violations
- Pursue smugglers of non-citizens at or near borders using covert surveillance methods, including infrared scopes during night operations
- Analyze physical evidence such as tracks, marks, and other indicators of illegal entry or smuggling activity
- Conduct farm checks, building checks, traffic stops, city patrols, and transportation inspections
Required Skills & Qualifications:
The ideal candidate will possess strong decision-making skills under pressure.
Possess a bachelor's degree in any field; OR one year of general work experience that demonstrates ability to take charge in stressful situations;OR a combination thereof.
