This challenging role involves safeguarding the nation's borders, enforcing customs and immigration laws, and ensuring public safety.


Job Description:

  • Detect and question individuals suspected of violating customs and immigration laws

  • Inspect documents and personal belongings to determine citizenship status or potential violations

  • Pursue smugglers of non-citizens at or near borders using covert surveillance methods, including infrared scopes during night operations

  • Analyze physical evidence such as tracks, marks, and other indicators of illegal entry or smuggling activity

  • Conduct farm checks, building checks, traffic stops, city patrols, and transportation inspections

Required Skills & Qualifications:
The ideal candidate will possess strong decision-making skills under pressure.
Possess a bachelor's degree in any field; OR one year of general work experience that demonstrates ability to take charge in stressful situations;OR a combination thereof.
