The purpose of the Analyst, Restaurant Systems is to accurately maintain, update, and launch all local and national Brand programs through their Point of Sale (POS), back office systems (inventory), e-commerce, and aggregator platforms as per the Brand specifications and requirements. The Restaurant Systems team also acts as a first point of escalation for the service desk, through troubleshooting issues accurately and efficiently.
What you will do in this role:
Implements changes and updates submitted by the Brand teams through a Request for Change (RFC)
Assists the Brands with the implementation of marketing initiatives (coupons and discounts)
Performs changes in POS, inventory, e-commerce and 3rd party platforms
Ensures that all facets of inventory are properly configured and updated in the system to provide accurate tracking of data
Maintains and improves end user interaction for all Systems
Conducts comprehensive POS testing with Brand representatives
Conducts detailed inventory testing with Brand representatives which includes confirming recipe details, inventory and supplier items
Conducts thorough ecommerce testing with Brand representatives, which includes validating price, images, and menu item descriptions
Reviews and manages upcoming requests for changes and updates
Ensures that requests are feasible and provides alternative solutions for initiatives that may not be feasible with the current systems
Discuss ideas and solutions for future projects and initiatives
Works in conjunction with the Project Management team on Recipe and Brand specific projects intended on improving the system and support techniques relating to the restaurant
Works as first level escalation point for the service desk on back and front of house POS issues involving menu items, price, and print locations.

Supports service desk with Restaurant Systems related issues
What we are looking for from you:
Post Secondary Education is considered an asset
Working knowledge of Windows environments
Data accuracy and verification
Experience with Point of Sale (POS) technology
Restaurant Operations Experience is a key asset
Good working knowledge of G-Suite
Prior experience or general knowledge with inventory systems
An appreciation of wider business demands
Strong time management skills and the ability to work under pressure
Demonstrated ability to quickly understand complex systems
Strong interpersonal skills, including strong verbal, written communication skills, customer service skills and excellent listening skills
Strong attention to detail
Strong problem solving skills
