This key role directly supports the technical development of functional solutions for the business community by working closely with both the business and the development team. They will gather, interpret, and document requirements for the design, coding, and testing of approved software implementation and enhancements while ensuring alignment with key business initiatives.
Primary Responsibilities:
Work with business partners to implement, optimize, and enhance effective business solutions. Partner with IT leadership to document current and new business processes and help identify issues and design maintainable technical solutions during project execution. Support development by providing solutions to problems through gap analysis (with oversite from leadership) Perform quality assurance and testing (with oversite) and review results with leadership and developers Contribute to the enhancement and documentation of software development techniques and standards Manage your activities within the Systems Development Life Cycle (SDLC). Prepare and maintain technical change documentation supporting the development and implementation of new software and enhancements. Present completed software features to stakeholders as part of the development lifecycle to validate functionality and support final testing and acceptance. Responsibilities may require evening and weekend work in response to needs of the systems being delivered. Complete any additional responsibilities and/or duties as assigned Qualifications
:
Bachelor's degree or higher from an accredited university or equivalent experience working as a Business Analyst. Experience in writing queries preferred. Ability to exercise sound judgment. Good problem solving and analytical skills. Accuracy and attention to detail. Good organizational and time management skills. Effective written and verbal communication skills. Ability to learn and communicate new information and processes to IT and business associates within the company. Outstanding interpersonal and listening skills Physical requirements:
Minimal travel to stores and distribution centers. Duties frequently involve being seated for extended periods of time and using computers. Ability to remain in a normal seated position regularly. Ability to see, hear, and speak regularly. Ability to grip, reach, and pinch with arms and hands frequently. Ability to bend and twist occasionally. Ability to work in a constant state of alertness and safe manner.
