Seeking experienced Forklift Operators to join our thriving logistics hub in Tampa, Florida! If you possess excellent forklift skills and a strong commitment to safety, we want to hear from you. In this critical role, you will be responsible for moving, locating, relocating, stacking, and counting inventory. Your precision and efficiency are vital to our warehouse operations and overall supply chain success.
Responsibilities:
- Operate forklifts (e.g., sit-down, stand-up, reach truck) safely and efficiently to move materials within the warehouse.
- Load and unload trucks and containers.
- Put away and retrieve stock from designated locations.
- Conduct daily pre-operation inspections of forklifts and report any issues.
- Maintain accurate inventory records by scanning items and updating system data.
- Assist with organizing warehouse space and ensuring clear aisles.
- Adhere strictly to all safety regulations and company policies.
- Perform other warehouse duties as assigned to support logistics operations.
Requirements:
- Proven experience operating various types of forklifts.
- Valid forklift operator certification is required.
- Must be able to perform lifting of materials up to 60 lbs.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced warehouse environment.
- Strong understanding of warehouse safety procedures and practices.
- Must wear appropriate Personal Protective Equipment (PPE) at all times, including steel-toed boots and safety glasses.
- Good communication and teamwork skills.
- Must be reliable and punctual.
