Responsibilities:
- Operate forklifts (e.g., sit-down, stand-up, reach truck) safely and efficiently to move materials within the warehouse.
- Load and unload trucks and containers.
- Put away and retrieve stock from designated locations.
- Conduct daily pre-operation inspections of forklifts and report any issues.
- Maintain accurate inventory records by scanning items and updating system data.
- Assist with organizing warehouse space and ensuring clear aisles.
- Adhere strictly to all safety regulations and company policies.
- Perform other warehouse duties as assigned to support logistics operations.
Requirements:
- Proven experience operating various types of forklifts.
- Valid forklift operator certification is required.
- Must be able to perform lifting of materials up to 60 lbs.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced warehouse environment.
- Strong understanding of warehouse safety procedures and practices.
- Must wear appropriate Personal Protective Equipment (PPE) at all times, including steel-toed boots and safety glasses.
- Good communication and teamwork skills.
- Must be reliable and punctual.
